Your Miss Isn't Curve. It's the Start Line.
Most golfers chase draw and fade like it's the whole story, but the ball already left the face wrong before it ever curved. At Start Line Lab we calibrate face angle, grip, and lie angle so the ball actually starts on the line you picked — then we build the set that keeps it there.
Face Angle Sets the Start Line. Everything Else Just Bends It.
Every golf teacher will tell you swing path shapes curve, and that's true. But before a ball can curve anywhere, it has to leave the face pointed somewhere — and for the vast majority of full shots, that initial direction is governed overwhelmingly by where the face is aimed at the moment of impact, not by the path the club traveled to get there.
We put impact tape and a dual-camera rig on every session so you can watch your own face angle number settle out, swing after swing, instead of guessing from where the ball eventually landed.

Whatever's sending shots offline — a closed face at the top, a grip that's twisted your hands out of neutral, or a lie angle fighting your setup — we isolate it club by club.

Alignment Diagnostic
We tape the face and run your current clubs first, logging where the ball actually starts versus where you're aimed.
Grip & Lie Calibration
Grip size and lie angle are checked and adjusted first — they're the cheapest fixes and often the biggest movers of face angle.
Head & Shaft Testing
With grip and lie settled, we test heads and shafts against your recorded start-line baseline, not a generic chart.
Build & Verify
Every club is built in-house and re-taped on the bay before pickup to confirm the start line held.
What Changes When the Start Line Is Fixed
I'd spent two years trying to fix a slice with swing changes. Turned out my lie angle had my face open almost 3 degrees before I ever started the downswing. Regripped and lie-adjusted, and the miss is gone.
Watching the face-tape number settle in real time was the first time a fitting actually made sense to me. My drives start where I look now, which never happened before.
My putter was a half inch too upright for years. Once it was matched to my stroke, putts actually start on my line instead of drifting right of every read.
Every Major Brand, So the Fix Isn't Limited to One Shelf
We stock current-year heads, shafts, and grips from every major manufacturer, so nothing about your start-line fix is limited by what one brand happens to sell.
