FAQ

Questions We Hear Before Booking

The things clients ask most often before and after a session, answered plainly.

What does "start line" actually mean?

It's the direction the ball is travelling the instant it leaves the clubface, before curve from spin axis has a chance to bend it left or right. It's set almost entirely by where the face is pointed at impact, with a smaller contribution from swing path.

Why check grip and lie angle before shafts and heads?

An ill-fitting grip changes how freely your hands can rotate through impact, and a mismatched lie angle tilts the face open or closed at the moment of contact. Both are inexpensive to correct and often move your start line more than a new shaft ever will.

How long does a fitting session take?

Single-club fittings (driver, fairway wood, hybrid, wedge, or putter) run 45–60 minutes. Iron set fittings run 60–90 minutes. A full bag assessment covering every club typically takes 2–3 hours.

Do I have to buy clubs after my fitting?

No. There's never any obligation to purchase. You'll receive a written data report with our findings, and if you do order afterward, your session fee is credited in full toward the build.

What should I bring to my session?

Bring your current clubs relevant to the fitting, the shoes you normally wear to play, and a rough sense of your typical scores or handicap if you know it.

Is impact tape actually accurate, or is it just for show?

Impact tape marks exactly where and how the ball compressed against the face, and paired with our dual-camera capture it gives a repeatable, swing-by-swing face angle reading — far more reliable than guessing from where a shot eventually landed downrange.

Do you fit left-handed golfers?

Yes. Our demo wall carries left-handed heads across every major category, and our camera and impact-tape setup works identically for right- and left-handed golfers.

Can I get fit if I already love my current clubs?

Absolutely. Many clients come in just to verify grip size and lie angle on clubs they already own, without any intent to buy something new.

How long does it take to receive new clubs after ordering?

Most builds are completed in-house within one week of ordering, since we stock components and build on-site rather than routing orders through an outside factory queue.

What areas do you serve?

Our studio is located in Gilbert, Arizona, and we regularly serve golfers across the greater East Valley, including Chandler, Mesa, and Queen Creek.
